What we shipped
Notable changes to WebinarRun, newest first. Small fixes are left out.
October 2026
- Analytics
Clearer webinar analytics
- The Registered Users table now shows Attended, Joined At, Left At, Watch Time and % Watched, with filters for Attended, Did not attend and Stayed to the end.
- Each attendee pop-up shows a "parts watched" bar, so you can see exactly which parts of the video they saw.
- Retention is now one clear curve, and Real-Time lists each person on the watch page with the event and their current position.
- Watch time now counts only the seconds the video actually played while the tab was visible, and the CSV export matches the table.
- Webinars
Typing indicators in webinar chat
- You can now see when an attendee is typing in the Chat Room, and attendees see "Host is typing…" while you reply.
- The Chat Room list and unread badge update live on every dashboard page.
- Enter sends a message and Shift+Enter adds a new line, for both you and your attendees.
- Attendees get an unread badge on the Chat tab of the watch page.
- Webinars
Better watch page on phones
- On a phone, the Q&A after the video now uses one tab panel for Chat, Polls, Offers and Resources, with one pinned offer.
- Attendees who open your link inside WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or Telegram get full screen at once, plus a small "Open in browser" bar.
- Webinars
Formatted offer descriptions
- Offer descriptions now keep their formatting on the watch page.
- The offer description editor shows only the formatting tools attendees will actually see.
- Contacts
Assign contacts and track overdue follow-ups
- You can now assign contacts to an agent or spread them evenly across a team, one by one or in bulk.
- Follow-ups due has All, Due today and Overdue views, with an "Overdue · N days" tag.
- CSV import opens a small window that shows new, updated and skipped rows, and you can download the skipped rows with reasons.
- Sort the Contacts table by Date added, newest or oldest first.
- Contacts

- When a form submission matches an existing contact by phone but has a different email, it now waits in a Duplicate leads list.
- Approve applies the new details to the contact; Reject discards them.

- Webinars

- Registration pages label that slot "Starting soon" in the session dropdown.

- Webinars
Registration questions from contact fields
- You now add a registration question by picking a contact field, or creating one on the spot, so answers land straight in the contact record.
- Sign-up forms show each contact field type, including dropdowns, dates, numbers and yes/no.
- The embedded button and inline iframe ask the same registration questions as your landing page.
- Before you delete a contact field, you see which events use it.
- WhatsApp
Webinar reminder templates for WhatsApp
- Recommended webinar templates now sit behind a "Webinar templates" toggle in the Templates toolbar.
- Each template card shows its Meta status and a "Publish to Meta" button, or "Publish all" for the full set.

- Webinars

- Attendees see a cleaner thank-you page and waiting room with a countdown, a copyable personal join link and add-to-calendar buttons.
- The countdown is correct for attendees in any timezone.
- Join links no longer include the attendee's email address.
