Set up single sign-on (SSO)

WebinarRun single sign-on lets your team log in with your company identity provider. People who enter an email on your verified domain are sent straight to it.

Updated

Before you start

  • Scale plan
  • An admin role in WebinarRun
  • Admin access to your identity provider
  1. Copy the redirect URI

Open User Management and scroll to Single Sign-On (SSO). Copy the Redirect URI and paste it into your identity provider’s app settings.

  2. Pick your provider

Click Configure on the provider card you use: Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, any OpenID Connect provider, or SAML 2.0. SAML covers Okta, Entra ID, JumpCloud, ADFS and other SAML 2.0 providers.

  3. Enter the provider details

For Google, Microsoft and OIDC, enter the Client ID and Client secret (plus Tenant or Issuer URL where asked). For SAML, enter the Metadata URL or paste the metadata XML.

  4. Add your email domains

In Email domains, list the domains to route to this provider, for example acme.com. Optionally turn on automatic account creation and choose a Role for new users.

  5. Enable and test

Turn on Enabled and save. Sign out, then sign in with an email on your domain to check you are sent to your provider.

Good to know

  • A card marked Needs attention lists what is wrong with that provider’s setup.
  • Scale also includes audit logs under Settings, Audit Logs.
