How this is calculated
- Dials per month = telecallers × calls per telecaller per day × working days.
- Connected calls = dials × connect rate.
- Connected minutes = connected calls × average call length.
- Team cost = telecallers × monthly cost per telecaller.
- AI cost = connected minutes × AI cost per minute, plus phone numbers × monthly cost per number.
- Cost per connected call = monthly cost ÷ connected calls, for each side.
- Difference = team cost minus AI cost. The percentage is the difference as a share of team cost.
Assumptions
- AI makes the same number of dials as your team, with the same connect rate and call length.
- AI is billed only for connected minutes. Check whether your provider bills ringing or unanswered time.
- The ₹6 per minute AI rate is an example. It is not WebinarRun's price. Enter the rate you pay or have been quoted.
- The team cost is fixed: it does not go down in a quiet month, while AI usage does.
- Taxes, software subscriptions and the time your staff spend reviewing AI calls are not included.
- AI does not replace every human conversation. Complex deals, complaints and sensitive calls still need a person, so most teams keep some telecallers and let AI take the repetitive volume.

Does the calculator count unanswered calls?
The AI side counts only connected minutes, because that is how most AI calling is billed. If your provider also bills ringing time or short unanswered calls, raise the per-minute rate to cover it.
Can AI calls replace my whole telecalling team?
Usually not. AI calls handle high-volume, repeatable conversations such as qualifying leads, reminders and follow-ups, while people are better at complex negotiations and sensitive conversations. Many teams use AI for the first calls and hand warm leads to a person.
