Webinars & AI Sessions

Set up the AI assistant for an event

WebinarRun lets each webinar or AI Session have its own AI assistant that answers attendees in chat or by voice. You set its personality, voice, language and qualifying questions per event.

Updated

Before you start

  • An event that uses AI Chat + Host, Voice AI + Host, or is an AI Session
  • Content in your AI Brain
  1. Pick an AI Q&A mode

Open the event with Edit Event and go to the General tab. AI Chat + Host has the AI answer in chat with you as backup. Voice AI + Host adds a spoken conversation with the AI after the video ends. Email Q&A and Live Chat do not use the AI.

  2. Set the personality

Open the AI assistant tab. Under Personality, enter an AI Name and AI Role, choose an AI Tone (Professional, Friendly or Casual) and add Custom Instructions, for example what to stress or avoid.

  3. Scope its knowledge

Under Knowledge, pick AI Brain tags to limit the AI to certain content, such as pricing. Leave it empty to use your whole AI Brain.

  4. Choose voice, language and greeting

For Voice AI + Host and AI Sessions, pick the AI Voice and Language. Tick Lock language if the AI must not switch. Add an optional Greeting; writing it in your language makes the AI open in that language.

  5. Add qualifying questions

Under After the session, click Add question to add up to 5 Qualifying Questions. The AI asks them naturally during the voice conversation. Three usually works best.

  6. Test and save

Use Test your AI on the right: the Chat tab for typed questions, or Voice and Start Voice Test to talk to it. When you are happy, click Save changes.

Good to know

  • 30 voices and 97 languages plus auto-detect are available.
  • You can also tick Email session summary to attendees after session ends so each attendee gets a recap of their conversation.
  • Voice AI time uses AI credits per minute.
