AI calling
Let the AI answer incoming calls and build an IVR
WebinarRun can answer your incoming calls with AI voice, all the time or only outside business hours. An IVR flow can greet callers with a keypad menu instead.
Before you start
- A phone number bought in WebinarRun, or a connected WhatsApp number for WhatsApp calls
- Permission to change general settings
- Content in your AI Brain
Switch on AI call answering
Open Calls, then Live calls & logs, and the Call Activity tab. In the AI call answering box, pick the number if you have several and turn the switch on.
Choose when, language and voice
Set When to Answer always or Only after business hours. Pick the Language and Voice, and add an optional Greeting. For after-hours mode, tick the days and hours your team answers; hours use your Default timezone.
Catch missed calls
Turn on Missed-call auto-reply to send the caller a WhatsApp message when nobody answers. Turn on Hand unanswered calls to AI so the AI takes calls your team does not accept in time.
Build an IVR flow (optional)
Under IVR flows, click Add IVR Flow. Drag in Greeting, Menu, Gather, HTTP, Transfer, Timing, Go to Flow and Hangup steps, tick Call start so the flow answers incoming calls, and click Save Flow.
Choose what happens after calls
Under Call notes & recording, turn on Auto-add AI call summaries to Notes, Record & transcribe calls (where you have the legal right) and Auto-refresh lead score after calls as needed.
Good to know
- There is also a quick AI answers calls switch at the top of Calls, AI Calling.
- Mask phone numbers (show only the last 4 digits in call logs) is on the Scale plan.
- AI-answered calls use AI credits per minute.
